Yay! My shopautodotca seocontest site is #1 in Google and #1 in MSN too! Let's hope things stay that way... because I have worked really hard on my shopautodotca seocontest site and blog and I deserve a good position in the ranks. Clearly having a good rank opens you up to all kinds of criticisms and insults in the shopautodotca seocontest, but that is okay because well, I don't care! Which is good because man oh man are some of you really starting to be jerks, towards other participants and towards the contest sponsors. Really appalling, and I am still trying to wrap my mind around why people would participate in a contest yet go around posting negative comments about the company who is sponsoring the shopautodotca seocontest. If you think it is a scam... just don't partipate.
And the whole lawsuit thing... gimme a break! You can't just go around threatening to sue everybody. This is Canada, remember.
Shop Auto should sue you for calling them a scam and spreading these comments on the internet, and if you keep it up they may just have a case. If I were them I would be so regretting the shopautodotca seocontest now, in light of recent behaviour.
Here is what Wikipedia has to say about slander and libel law in Canada:As with most
Commonwealth jurisdictions,
Canada also follows English law on defamation issues (although the law in the province of
Quebec has roots in both the English and the French tradition). At common law,
defamation covers any communication that tends to lower the esteem of the subject in the minds of ordinary members of the public.[17] The perspective measuring the esteem is highly contextual, and depends on the view of the potential audience of the communication and their degree of background knowledge. Probably true statements are not excluded, nor are political opinions. Intent is always presumed, and it is not necessary to prove that the defendant intended to defame.

Page Version ID: 122866359The shopautodotca seocontest is a search engine optimization contest to find the best SEO expert on the internet. The prizes being offered by the Shop Auto company are great and I really hope to win few! Check out my site which is now #1 in MSN and Google, mostly because I actually work on my shopautodotca seocontest regularly instead of crying, complaining and being mean.
Here is what I know about the Shop Auto company:
They are located within walking distance to my house.
They have been involved in promotions with FM 96, a prominent local radio station. You know
Tucker and Taz (for the locals, you should know this).
This is London, Ontario. The birthplace and home of conservative business in Canada.
They are a new company, just starting out. This is meant to help them grow their new business and promote their site. I sent an email to Shop Auto and they responded by the next day.
They are in the phone book, and the number is still in service.
Their website is very transparent about who owns it and who works there. They are not hiding anything. You want a used car scam site: car-auction.com. That is a scam site. See how you can't find any actual information about anything real at all.
They are looking to hire someone to work as their SEO manager. They want to find someone who is good at this to help them grow their new company, someone that has proven their dedication and skill over the course of many months. They are willing to pay all that money to find that person in the longest job interview in the history of the world. I think some of you are misunderstanding the point of the shopautodotca seocontest, and more importantly, the motivation to participate in an online environment at all.
And sorry if my statements offend or upset. This of course does not in any way apply to everybody, but often the actions of a few make us all look bad. And like I said before, if you really think this is a scam, don't participate.
One could argue, if you did go to court, that you knew it was a scam and should not have participated. If you go into a transaction saying "This is a big scam" and professing it publicly, doesn't that just make you stupid and not really a victim because you admitted it was a scam from the get-go. Don't you negate your victim status by admitting a reasonable person would have seen through this? I am going to google it! Or maybe someone who is a lawyer will read this and let me know! Oooh I wish! That would so sweet!
So later party poopers of the shopautodotca seocontest! Off to work on my shopautodotca seocontest and google information on Canadian laws relating to the shopautodotca seocontest.
