Ya know I'm not quite sure when I realized I was a blogger since I've been doing websites in one form or another for about 10 years. I guess it would be the first time I created a site which I updated on a nearly daily basis, filling it with all of my wonderful randomness. Except back then no one was even using the word "blogging" ;P
I wish I could think: How cute about this... but it is kind of funny.
I had tried blogging before because I love writing, but I never maintained them after a few first initial posts. In fact, this is my first website. I am really enjoying myself though, and I get a lot more out of actually blogging than I did blogging in Sims. I can't even see what I am blogging about.
But I wonder what kind of ranking they use in Sims to figure 5% popularity... ? They should make it like Technorati ranking as this makes more sense to me - it would be good advertising for Technorati to have their name in the game too.
LOL. I actually wondered the same thing as I read your post. Maybe they base the popularity on the seriously flawed Alexa rankings, but then again if that were the case you could probably reach about 95% popularity in just a couple short SIMS hours ;)
Well yeah, if you consider that there are maybe 20 people in total in Sims land from what I can gather, and I don't think that many of them blog so they are probably all reading mine. Geez - I really need to work on my Sims-creativity.:)
Or you can build a house with doors - get the Sims to go into rooms and then remove all the doors. For added fun, put them all in a room, remove the doors and light some fireworks or get the cheapest stove and no fire alarm.

The most exciting thing I can think of to do in Sims is build a house with NO bathrooms, then sit back and ignore their pleas for relief.
Now that I think of it, they could probably use the Sims as a program to test potential sociopaths and sadistic criminals but WHATEVER.

:) Did I pass the test?
