A few months ago I read about the Google 30 Point Penalty. This is a very vague and new concept that no one seems to be sure if it really exists, but I have been watching the rank of the shopauto.ca site for used cars and used car classifieds, and I am starting to wonder if the seocontest sponsor site has been subject to this 30 point penalty.

What is the Google 30 Point Penalty?

Essentially, this is an automatic penalty that is applied whereby your site will drop 30 spots in Google search rank, and it will not be able to rank any higher than position #30.

Well am I the only one who wonders why the shopauto dot ca domain has not increased its search engine ranking? They have truly increased their PR links, and well, it seems surprising that all this activity has provided them with no help in the ranks. ???

I have been watching this and wondering if it is possible that this site has been subject to the Minus 30 Penalty in Google. And since I have seen no progress for this site, I think it may be quite possible that this is what we are dealing with here.
